David2024-05-27 My family had a great time at Ryan’s house. Location is perfect for day trips to big trees, lake alpine, Murphys downtown and many other parks and gold rush towns. Neighborhood is quiet and peaceful. The house itself is as described. Hot tub was great after the drive up from the Bay Area or a day of exploring. Looking forward to another trip in the future. Nora2024-04-08 We had a great stay! Ryan was very responsive and helpful given an unexpected snow storm. Lisa2024-03-31 Spacious and comfortable place to stay during our group weekend trip to Arnold. Great communication and super responsive hosts. It was rainy and cloudy for part of our trip, and we enjoyed having the fireplace and hot tub to keep us cozy. Meaghan2024-03-03 We spent the weekend at Ryan's place amidst the big snowstorm in the Sierras. Ryan was communicative about leading up to the weekend, when there were travel advisories, on what our options were. House is all set up with sledding equipment and a new hot tub which was great. We look forward to returning! Joe2024-02-24 Ryan's house is lovely. Quiet street up in the trees, it's in a really beautiful place. The house was as described - very comfortable. A lot of stairs to get up to the front door, but that was fine for us and our two dogs. The house had plenty of the things that make an Airbnb comfortable (e.g., plenty of all kinds of towels, a central heating system that heated the home well, easy-to-use smart TV, well-stocked kitchen). The hot tub was great. Easy to get to from back deck and get the cover on and off. There was a power outage one of the days, and the house had backup batteries that worked great to continue powering the house until PG&E fixed the power. Ryan was responsive throughout the outage, and, indeed throughout the whole stay. We also found the great thing about the location was that while there was a bit of snow on the roadside, and it snowed one evening, it wasn't so snowy that driving was tough, and the actual snow was only about 25 minutes away. Would definitely stay again! Liora2024-02-12 Beautiful place ! Worked very well for our group - cozy, spacious, wonderful spot Keren2024-02-04 We had an amazing time in this beautiful chalet! Super cozy, had everything we needed. Pictures don’t do it enough justice. Book it, you won’t regret! Jose2024-01-28 This cabin is awesome! It’s perfectly situated with amazing mountain views and very private, separated from neighbors with trees and land all around. The deck and upstairs loft were our favorite hangout spots ! Tess2024-01-15 Ryan was responsive and helpful. We had a great stay! Catherine2024-01-04 We stayed in this superb cabin for two nights in January 2024. The place is beautifully situated among a few streets of other cabins, set among forested hills; which was gorgeous enough when we arrived and it was green, and even more so when it snowed. The cabin itself is delightful. Spacious, well equipped, and spotlessly clean; and full of very welcome extra touches, like a bookcase full of board games, stoves, and an exceedingly pleasant hot tub out back. Sleeps two couples and a handful of kids comfortably, with several indoor and outdoor communal spaces to choose from. Ryan, the host, was super responsive and helpful, the get-in and get-out we’re straightforward; and (best of all since this isn’t always the case on AirBnB) with no onerous demands or excessive cleaning fees. Just a handful of common-sense rules that amount to “treat the place with respect”. The place was kid and pet friendly. Thoroughly recommend it to any family looking for a getaway in the snow.Load more
